About Southern Heat Exchanger Services
Our plant in Houston has 18,000 sq ft (1,700 sq m) of manufacturing space. We have full in-house thermal and mechanical design capabilities using HTRI for thermal rating, Code Calc for mechanical calculations and Auto Cad for drafting and design. SHECO Services manufactures units from carbon steel as well as a wide range of alloys; stainless, duplex, nickel, copper and titanium. Our CNC drilling capability is for tube sheets up to 120" (3048 mm) in diameter and up to 7" (178 mm) thick We fabricate units from 6" (152 mm) to 156" (3962 mm) in diameter and up to 720" (18 m) long. Our shop's maximum crane capacity is 100,000 lbs (45,400 kg). We fab units over 100,000 lbs (45,400 kg) regularly though. The largest unit ever built weighed 190,000 lbs (86,260 kg). We do new fabrication in shop for shell and tube exchangers, exchanger bundles, and fin fan coil banks.
